About the standard
2BS is a non-profit association whose objective is to help clients demonstrate that they meet the sustainability criteria established in current European legislation.
The 2BSvs scheme was approved by the European Commission to verify compliance with the sustainability criteria established by the European Directive 2018/2001 "RED II Directive".
Why choose this standard?
It allows the issuance of sustainability declarations, complying with the criteria of the Renewable Energy Directive, for biomass used as raw material, and for bioliquids and biofuels processed from that biomass.
2BSVS takes a practical approach to RED II and aims to avoid unnecessary complications.
